Delete Your Account

You can delete your FormAI account and the data attached to it at any time. There are two routes: from inside the app, which is immediate, and by email, which is for people who have already uninstalled it.

You do not need an account to read this page, and you do not need to reinstall the app to delete your data. If the in-app route is not available to you, the email route below reaches the same person and deletes the same records.

1. Delete from inside the app

Open FormAI.
Tap the Profile tab (the rightmost tab).
Scroll to Account Settings.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm. The account and its data are removed and you are signed out.

This is the fastest route and it takes effect straight away.

2. Request deletion by email

If you have uninstalled the App, cannot sign in, or would simply rather ask us, email support@formai.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject Account deletion request.

Sending it from the address on the account is what lets us identify it without asking you for anything further. If you signed in with Google or Apple, use the address that sign-in provided. If you cannot email from that address, write from any address and tell us which account you mean; we will ask one verification question rather than delete the wrong records.

We confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

Your account — authentication record, email address, user ID, sign-in provider.
Your profile — display name, age, height, weight, activity level, goal, unit and language preferences.
Body metrics — every weight and tape measurement you logged, and their history.
Workout history — completed plan days, streaks, XP, levels and badges.
Community data — your public profile, squad memberships, friendships, activity-feed events, reactions, leaderboard entry and challenge participation.
Referral records — your invite code and the redemptions attached to it.
Subscription linkage — the pseudonymous identifier that links your account to its entitlement.
Reports you filed — including any AI-coach replies you reported.
Everything held on the device — local caches, your progress photos (which never left the phone in the first place), and all app preferences.

4. What is not deleted, and why

Your subscription itself. Deleting your FormAI account does not cancel a Google Play or Apple subscription — only the store can do that. Cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions before or after deleting, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists. Google's instructions are here.
Anonymous, aggregated analytics. Events that carry no identifier and cannot be traced back to you are not deleted, because there is nothing in them to find. They are counts.
Billing and tax records. Where law requires an invoice to be retained, it is retained for the statutory period and nothing else.
Crash reports. Automatically purged after 90 days on their own schedule.

5. Deleting the app is not deleting your account

Uninstalling FormAI removes the app and everything stored on the phone, but the account on our servers stays until you delete it by one of the two routes above. That is deliberate — it is what lets you reinstall on a new phone and find your history where you left it.
